CAR WASH - really it was more of a detailing day. Washing 3 cars with soap and water took about 1/4 of the time it took to do the interior of Highlander alone. We took EVERYTHING out of both cars and gave them both a thorough cleaning. This picture just shows the contents of Highlander. It was a MESS! I don't think we had ever cleaned it out before, so there was alot of accumulation. I found hospital discharge paperwork from some scans I had while pregnant with Laedyn. That wasn't even the oldest of the stuff...Nick brought out the heavy equipment - who ever heard of vaccuuming the floors of the car like this??? I guess it's just because he loves his new Dyson. When the dry part of the cleaning was done, we put Laedyn in her bathing suit and set up her "Puddle." She was happy to play in there while the rest of us washed the cars.
Brandon was thrilled to be able to use the hose. He wasn't very choosey about where he sprayed either. Nick and I kept getting doused. Sometimes on purpose - most of the time not so much.
He was happy to use the giant car wash sponges I bought.
What a team!
Laedyn finally got tired of playing in her puddle. She was tuckered out & went inside for a nap.
After Highlander & Honda were clean & Laedyn was asleep, Nick took a break. It lasted about 5 minutes before he couldn't stand sitting still any longer. While Nick took his break Mark decided to wash his car too since there was plenty of soapy water left. Brandon helped him and then decided to wash his red tricycle while he was at it.Brandon didn't want to give up the hose even though all the car washing was done so he took over the "Puddle" and I let him keep playing with the hose - on the condition that no grown-ups got sprayed!
