Brandon has officially moved out of all his car seats and is using booster seats in both cars. We gave him a no-back "Cars" themed booster for his birthday. He loved the idea of it, but found it uncomfortable to sleep in because there are no headrests. I bought him a kids neck pillow, but he didn't like that either. So here's the solution - a high backed booster seat. He still gets to use the car seatbelt, but there's a high back on the booster with headrests and activity lights! He'll be able to have little lights on back there at night. We'll see how that works out on our upcoming roadtrip to South Bend, Indiana! The cats wondered what the heck Nick was doing...
The whole process tired Nick out - the cats & Brandon too. Laedyn? She's ALWAYS on the go...
Laedyn has graduated into regular forward facing car seats now too. That's part of the reason Brandon got to upgrade. Laedyn inherited his old "good" car seat for the Honda. The cheap one in there was in terrible shape. We bought her a flowery one of her own for the Highlander since that's the primary car for the family.
He's pretty pleased with his new seat!
